The main goal of this project is to provide a simulation environment for all types of components and circuit designs in HYDRAULIC AUTOMATION CIRCUITS. This simulator will be used by students and engineers alike, thanks to its easy-to-learn interface while still maintaining the integrity of an engineering software application. It has been designed with 2D graphics featuring simple icons for depicting springs, dampers, valve stations or cylinders. It also has the ability to depict the variables in each stage, to show the relationships between them, and to let users calculate them quickly. Furthermore, this simulator has been designed in order to provide a platform that allows for an easy customization of parameters. Currently it is being used by Engineering students at UVa as well as mechanical & civil engineers at the University of Winnipeg.
